FAIRFIELD POLICE MAKE TWO ARRESTS, ALSO SEEKING APPLICANTS FOR FULL-TIME DISPATCHER

Fairfield Police arrest two individuals in two separate incidents.  Tuesday around 10:30pm, police arrested Edward A. Riley, 41 of Fairfield for retail theft. Riley was located in the 1200 block of Illinois Avenue. Earlier in the day, Riley had entered the Dollar General Store located on West Main Street, concealed items and departed without attempting to pay. Riley was transported to the Wayne County Jail.

 

Last (Wednesday) night just before 9 o’clock, police responded to the 900 block of SW 4th Street to investigate the report of a domestic battery. Lance M. Joslin, 47 of Fairfield is accused of shoving a family member and then striking them with a lamp. Joslin was taken into custody for domestic battery and transported to the Wayne County Jail.

 

 

Also, the Fairfield Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full time dispatcher.  Applications are available at the Fairfield Police Department on Leininger Road.
