The Eastern Illinois Foodbank will be hosting a Foodmobile distribution in Clay County on Monday, April 14th, providing food assistance to families in need. Attendees should bring their own boxes or bags for transport. Locations and times include:
Xenia (Band Stand, Front Street): 9:00–9:30 AM
Flora (Rotary Park): 10:00–11:00 AM
Clay City (500 South Main): 11:30 AM–12:00 PM
Louisville (Baseball Field): 1:00–1:45 PM
Pre-registration is encouraged at www.EIFclient.com, though it does not guarantee a spot. Income guidelines apply. This initiative is part of the Foodmobile Program, which focuses on delivering nutritious food to rural and underserved communities.
For ongoing support, the Clay County Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry in Flora (1101 Austin Ave) operates every Monday from 9:00–11:00 AM.
