Sentencing was set for Friday for a Wayne County woman convicted of the death of her one-year-old child, however that sentencing has been delayed.
Aydreian Hooper pled guilty in December of last year to a charge of child endangerment causing death. Three other charges, including manslaughter, were dropped. Hooper was convicted of leaving two kids in a hot car in Fairfield for several hours in July of last year.
Friday’s sentencing was delayed to May 2nd , and a new attorney was appointed for Hooper, reports indicated. A special prosecutor was appointed for the case last month.
