The New Hope Grade School Board will have a meeting this Tuesday night beginning at 7 p.m.
Items listed under the Superintendent’s Report include a Maintenance and Building Update, Speech Contest Winners, discussion on the 3rd through 5th grade musical on May 1st at 6 p.m., graduation which is set for Friday, May 16th at 6 p.m., Vespers on Sunday, May 4th at 2 p.m., the Spring Concert Thursday, May 8th at 6 p.m. and the Sports Banquet Tuesday, May 13th at 6 p.m.
New Business includes a motion to select a President Pro Tem, the calling to order the meeting of the new Board and Roll Call and administering the Oath of Office to Board Members. Motions are also listed to elect a President, Vice-President and Secretary, and set the dates, times and locations of regular Board Meetings. The board is also expected to appoint a WOVSED Delegate, approve a bid for Phase 2 of HVAC Replacement, rehire coaches and assistant coaches for the coming school year, accept the resignation of Cecily Atteberry and advertise for a Cheer Coach, and pay a Maintenance Grant Stipend to Britany Pope. An Executive Session is also scheduled to deal with personnel matters and student discipline.
