By Mark Wells Apr 22, 2025 | 5:58 AM

The Class of 2025 Wayne County CEO Program will host its Annual Trade Show on Saturday, May 3rd, from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Bob Boyles Hall on the campus of Frontier Community College.

This highly anticipated event marks the culmination of a year-long educational journey, where local high school juniors and seniors will present the business ventures they’ve developed over the course of the school year. The trade show serves as a celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation, and student achievement.

Among the featured businesses are:

Beth Bakes, a baked goods business created by Hannah Fickas, a senior at Cisne High School

Rosie K’s, offering candles and wax melts by Ava Isle, a junior at Fairfield Community High School

Other student-led ventures will include offerings such as photography services, permanent jewelry, fresh cotton candy, and chocolate-covered treats.

The Wayne County CEO Program is an immersive, year-long experience available to all high school juniors and seniors in Wayne County, including home-schooled students. The program focuses on entrepreneurship, business development, communication skills, networking, and career exploration, providing students with real-world learning opportunities.

Although the program is free for students and schools, it is entirely self-funded and relies on the generous support of local investors and community partners.
