Several individuals made court appearances in Wayne County Circuit Court Tuesday.
41-year-old Clay City resident, Christopher Britton pled guilty to a charge of Theft. Britton was sentenced to a term of two years of Probation plus ordered to pay court costs.
Galesburg, Illinois resident, 37-year-old John D. Atteberry pled guilty to Battery and was sentenced to six months Conditional Discharge with six days credit for time served in the Wayne County Jail. Atteberry was also ordered to pay court costs.
Phillip K. Bailey, 63 of Fairfield pled guilty to Driving While License Revoked. Bailey was sentenced for a term of two years of Probation plus 180 days of electronic home monitored confinement. Bailey will also pay court costs.
Joliet, Illinois resident, 37-year-old Kaci Bruce pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced by Judge, Denton Aud to spend 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections to run concurrent with sentences handed down in both Clay and Fayette counties. Bruce was also ordered to pay court costs.
64-year-old Jerry W. Carter of Fairfield pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to a term of one year Conditional Discharge. Carter was also ordered to pay court costs and was given credit for two days of time served in the Wayne County Jail.
Brenda Fond, 42 of Lake Villa, Illinois admitted in court Tuesday to violating a previous term of twenty-four months Probation on an original charge of Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and was re-sentenced to a new term of two years Probation plus ordered to pay court costs.
Enfield resident, Amanda Mangrum 39 years old also admitted in court Tuesday to violating a previous term of twenty-four months Probation for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was re-sentenced to a new term of two years Probation plus ordered to pay court costs.
44-year-old Jack R. Silliman of Fairfield pled guilty to Battery and was placed on Court Supervision for a term of one year. Silliman was given credit for two days time served in the Wayne County Jail. Silliman was also ordered to pay court costs.
Jacob Woolever, 34 of Fairfield pled guilty to Criminal Damage to Property and was sentenced to Conditional Discharge for a term of one year. Woolever was given credit for two days time served in the Wayne County Jail plus ordered to pay court costs.
