Fairfield Police Department make two arrests over the weekend. Friday afternoon at approximately 3:40 p.m., police arrested 39-year-old Matthew L. Rusler of Fairfield. Rusler is accused of assaulting a 68-year-old male victim in the roadway. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will face related charges.
Saturday night, around 6:20 p.m., police arrested 47-year-old Lance M. Joslin of Fairfield. He was located at a residence in the 400 block of Southwest 6th Street after violating an order of protection. Joslin was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail.
