Samuel A. Weber, 90 of Fairfield

Samuel A. Weber, 90 of Fairfield, passed away at 11:51 PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at his home.  Born on February 23, 1934, in Gridley, IL to Clarence and Marjorie (Legg) Weber, he had been a farmer, carpenter, and worked at Southern Lumber for over 30 years.  Sam was also a longtime member of the Kings Chapel Church.

He is survived by daughters Rhonda (Duane) Austin of Fairfield and Misty Crump of Fairfield, daughter in law Connie Weber of Sims, grandchildren- Erin (Matt) Fields of Wayne City, Lori Austin of Evansville, IN , Morgan Weber of Evansville, IN, Harold (Kelsea) Austin of Fairfield, Samantha Weber of Fairfield, and Shannon Gray of Fairfield, special grandsons James Harrison and Justin Revelo, great grandchildren- Avery Fields of Wayne City, Ryder Harris of Fairfield, Samuel Austin of Fairfield, and Paisley Austin of Fairfield, brothers- Harold “Bud” Weber of Mill Shoals, Lloyd (Kay) Weber of Fairfield, and Stanley Weber of Missouri, and sisters- Barb (Dan) Evans of Sims, Joyce Snidle of Albion, Wilberta Gregory of Centralia, and Faye Gaither of Taylorville, IL.  Sam was preceded in death by is parents, wife Lorene (Harrison) Weber, son Gib Weber, son in law Dwight Crump, brothers Glen and Carl Weber, and sister Linda Gray.

Funeral services for Samuel Weber will be held at 12 PM, Friday, October 11th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials in his honor may to made to Kings Chapel Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
