WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT NEWS FROM THURSDAY

Several area residents appeared in Wayne County Circuit Court Thursday.

 

54-year-old, William J Jelley Jr. of Fairfield plead guilty to Criminal Damage to Property.  Jelley Jr. was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay court costs.

 

McLeansboro resident, 30-year-old Ethan Bell plead guilty to Violation Of An Order Of Protection and was sentenced to 24 months probation plus court costs.

 

31-year-old, James Fenton of Johnsonville was sentenced by Judge Michael Valentine to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine with the original offense dating back to January of this year.  Fenton was ordered to pay court costs and also received 97 days credit for time already served.

 

David Selph, 61 of Crossville plead guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was placed on 1 year of probation and ordered to pay court costs.
