KENTUCKY MOTORCYCLIST CRITICALLY INJURED LAST THURSDAY NEAR GEFF

Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies responded last Thursday afternoon to a report of a motorcycle accident on US Route 45 just South of Geff.  Just before 4:30, deputies says Craig Rudolph from Calvert City, Kentucky was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into the back of a pickup driven by 58-year-old Christopher Hoskins of Geff.  Hoskins was turning off Rt. 45 at County Rd 1200 North when Rudolph failed to slow down, striking the rear of the Hoskins pickup truck.  Rudolph received major injuries and was airlifted from the scene to an area hospital.  Deputies ticketed Rudolph for Failure To Reduce Speed To Avoid An Accident.
