Sandra Lee Long, 78, of Grayville, Illinois, died Monday, October 28, 2024, at Meadowbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayville, Illinois. She was born July 23, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Elsie (Lamb) Groff.

Sandra was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grayville. She was an animal lover and had a passion for horses. She enjoyed reading, camping and living the country life.

Survivors include son Jarron (Ashley) Wyke of South Carolina; daughters Stacey (Shad) Walter of Grayville, Kelly (Rick) Knight of Carmi, Illinois; brothers Rod (Miranda) Groff of Grayville, Jim (Micah) Groff of Washington, Indiana, Paul (Marilyn) Groff of Grayville, Mike (Sharon) Groff of Albion, Illinois; sisters Nancy (Don) Wall, Donna (Mark) Campbell all of Grayville; and her significant other Allen Alldredge of Grayville.

Grandchildren Crystal (Aaron) Hottel, Clint (Jacy) Grimm, Zackery (Aaliyah) Walter, Katelyn Walter, Logan Spruell, Brandie Knight, Chelsie (Robb) Manion, Casie (Jared) Goodman; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Don Long; and great-grandson Jonah Goodman.

Visitation and funeral are Friday, November 1, 2024, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville, Illinois. Visitation is at 10 am followed by funeral at 12 noon. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, Illinois.
