Fairy loved being with her family and fixing Sunday dinner each week. She embroidered many lovely quilts for her family as gifts which are treasured. Fairy traveled to London, Paris, Rome, and Florence Italy with family in her seventies.
She worked in retail for several years, was the secretary at Mill Shoals Grade School for several years, worked at DiMaggio’s as a cashier, and was a caregiver for several ladies in the area. She loved shopping and was known to bring an extra empty suitcase on her trips to Texas when visiting Krista and family. As soon as she was picked up from the airport they went straight to the mall. Fairy was the queen of our family, and she will be greatly missed.
Fairy was cremated, and a memorial service has been scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday, November 16th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with visitation from 10 AM until the time of service.
