TWO FAIRFIELD RESIDENTS ARRESTED ON NUMEROUS DRUG CHARGES

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department along with the Fairfield Police Department executed a search warrant this past Saturday at approximately 9pm at a residence in Fairfield as the Sheriff’s Department had been investigating the illegal distribution of methamphetamine in Wayne County.  Sheriff’s Deputies and Police Officers located methamphetamine, bags of meth for sale, digital scales and approximately 1.2 lbs of cannabis, suspected psilocybin (sy-low-sy-bin) mushrooms and $3,500 in US currency.  Two arrests were made at the residence and more arrests are possible.  Those arrested were:

62-year-old Donald E. Wilhite Jr. of Fairfield.  Wilhite has been charged with:

Possession of Cannabis-more than 500 grams but less than 2,000 grams

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Delivery/Possess with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine

 

33-year-old Katherine M. Christopher of Fairfield.  Christopher has been charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Obstruction of Identification

Also a warrant out of Georgia

 

Both subjects were lodged in the Wayne County Jail.
