WAYNE COUNTY BOARD SET TO MEET THURSDAY NIGHT

The Wayne County Board is set to meet for their regular monthly meeting Thursday night in the upstairs courtroom of the Wayne County Courthouse.  On the agenda along with office and committee reports, is a   re-organization of the board including voting for a Chairman and Vice-Chairman; approval of the November minutes and under the Public Comments/Guests section will be David Shipley from Midwest Communications discussing phone service at the Courthouse.  Under new business;  Wayne County Trustees Resolution on Brad Walker purchase of 2 parcels of land, Republican Party Chairman, Ron Woodrow bringing forth before the board a nomination to consider and vote upon regarding the vacancy of the State’s Attorney’s Office which Kevin Kakac recently stepped down from to pursue other interests, discuss the vacancy on the County Board in District #5 and Bill Bruce, from the Wayne County Health Department.  The meeting begins at 7pm.
