Timothy Deane Kiefer, 70, of Grayville, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at home. He was born on Tuesday, June 8, 1954 in Evansville, IN, the son of Earnie Deane and Mabel Elizabeth (Lindsay) Kiefer. On August, 16 1986 he married Pamela Kay Schafer at the First Christian Church in Grayville and together they shared over 38 years of marriage.
Tim was retired, having worked for over 20 years at Central Supply Company in Crossville. He was a member of First Christian Church in Grayville. Tim enjoyed various activities and hobbies over the years including, fishing with his dad, golfing and hunting. His favorite pastime was bowling for fun with friends and family and competing in leagues. While he never scored the coveted 300, he did however win many awards and bowled two 299 games. most of all he enjoyed bowling with his son. Tim loved his family and being with them,
In addition to his wife Pam Kiefer of Grayville, Tim is survived by a son, Zachary Deane (Tiffanie Curry) Kiefer of Grayville; granddaughter, Mareah Michelle Kiefer of Jasper, IN; fur baby, Oakley Ann; brother David (Jennifer) Kiefer of Albion; special friends, Mark and Julie Schoenheit and a niece and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Blondie and Leona Banter and paternal grandparents Earnie and Hester Kiefer.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roberts and Cook Funeral Service 221 North First Street, Grayville, IL, with Tim Gholson officiating. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tim’s memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation and will be accepted by Roberts and Cook Funeral Service who has been entrusted with the arrangements.
