TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE EARLY FRIDAY MORNING

By Mark Wells Mar 13, 2025 | 11:53 AM

A total lunar eclipse is set to peak early Friday morning at 1:55am Central Time. This event, often referred to as a “Blood Moon,” will cause the moon to take on a reddish hue. The entire eclipse will begin late Thursday night and last about six hours, primarily visible from the western hemisphere, including North and South America. While no special equipment is necessary to view the eclipse, experts recommend using binoculars for a better experience and note that light pollution and weather conditions may affect visibility.
