The Fairfield Community High School Board of Education is set to meet in regular session this Thursday night at 6 in the FCHS Study Hall.
Items on the agenda include approval of the Open and Closed Session Minutes from the February 20th board meeting and the March 5th Special Board Meeting. Other items include the Consideration and/or Action on Renewal of the school’s IHSA membership, Catastrophic Insurance through Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk, purchasing a mini bus from Midwest Transit Equipment beginning July 1st, and the purchase of Transfinder Bus Routing Software.
A closed session is listed to discuss personnel matters, including the appointment, employment, retirement or dismissal of an employee, and collective bargaining matters, as well as Placement of Individual Students in Special Education Programs and Other Matters Related to Individual Students.
After returning to open session, items listed include the employment of a long-term substitute, principal, teacher aide, multiple teachers for the coming school year, and placing an Addendum to the Current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
