Paul Randall Groff, 69, of Grayville passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, IN. He was born on June 22, 1955, in Royal Oak, MI, a son of Joseph Ray and Elsie Jean (Lamb) Groff. On July 27, 1974, he married Marilyn Kay Jordan in Grayville and together they have shared over 50 years of marriage.
Paul was retired having worked at Champion Laboratories in Albion for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and drag racing. Paul loved his family, worked hard for them and enjoyed the time he spent making memories with them.
Along with his wife Marilyn Groff of Grayville, Paul is survived by, his children and their spouses Melinda Kay and Fritz Ginther of Crossville, Brian Paul and Amanda Groff of Albion; grandchildren, Emily ( Layne Stockton) Ginther, Ryan Ginther, Allison Groff and Blake Groff; great-grandson Ledger Stockton; siblings, Rod (Miranda) Groff, Jim (Micah) Groff, Mike (Sharon) Groff, Nancy (Don) Wall and Donna (Mark) Campbell; siblings-in-law, Sue Collins, David (Marty) Jordan, Shirley (Glen) Meritt and Laurie (Seaton) Snidle and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sandy Long.
A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Union Presbyterian Cemetery, County Road 1625 East, Crossville, IL. Please come dressed casually and comfortably as you join the family to celebrate Paul’s life. In Lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Roberts and Cook Funeral Service has been entrusted with the arrangements.
