The Fairfield City Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday night at 6:00pm with several significant items on the agenda, ranging from election certifications to business development and public safety compensation.
Council members will review and approve the minutes from the April 8th, meeting, as well as the executive session minutes from March 25th. The council will also review and approve current bills.
Under routine business, the council is set to consider a resolution to set the dates for upcoming City Council meetings, a resolution declaring the results of the recent election and certification of the ballot will also be introduced.
Among personnel matters, the council will vote on pay raises for both the Police Chief and Assistant Police Chief, the council will discuss a resolution approving a Business District Development Agreement with David Legg.
Also up for approval is the return of the City Band for a summer concert series, scheduled for June 5th, June 12, June 19th, June 26th, and July 3rd.
The council will consider a proposal to authorize seeking bids for the sale of city owned property along Airport Road.
The meeting is open to the public and will take place at City Hall.
