The National Weather Service in Paducah warns that thunderstorms will develop over Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Southwest Indiana and continue thoughout the day today.  Some storms could become severe, bringing brief tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds.

Showers and thunderstorms are also expected Sunday afternoon and evening, with the greatest coverage in southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. Western Kentucky and Southwest Indiana will see lighter activity. Cooler, dry weather is forecast to return early next week, with only small chances of showers and storms later in the week.
