The Flora City Council is set to meet this afternoon at 4:30 at Flora City Hall.
Lisa Erbacher and Amy Allen will appear before the council to get 4 events approved by the city. Those events include Music in Library Park, the Ford Town USA Festival, Shadows of Elmwood Cemetery Tours, and Kriskindlemarket Christmas Festival.
The council under routine business will look at passing a natural gas all-requirement sales agreement with the Illinois Public Energy Agency, look into purchasing real estate for $28,000 at 547 West North Avenue, look at hiring Brittnie Denoncour as a utility clerk at $18 per hour plus benefits beginning July 24th, approve the sale of a surplus police vehicle, hire Jennifer Wainscott as a police telecommunicator at $18.37 per hour plus benefits starting August 8th, look into a few matters involving closed session minutes.
