First Installment of Property Taxes Due in White County Today

The first installment of the 2022 tax bills, payable in 2023 is due today. The final installment is due on November 15. Taxpayers are reminded the treasurer’s office is no longer in the courthouse but has moved to the former Carmi Times Building. That address is 323 East Main Street, just east of the old courthouse. Payments may be made in person or by mail. If mailing your payment, address it to White County Collector, P.O. Box 369, Carmi, Il 62921.
