JOHNSONVILLE RURITAN CLUB COMMUNITY DAYS SET TO BEGIN TOMORROW (FRIDAY)

Johnsonville Community Days, sponsored by the Johnsonville Ruritan Club, kicks off tomorrow (Friday) with a lineup of activities. On Friday at 6:30 pm,  the Truck and Tractor pull, with admission priced at $5, as well as Bingo also at 6:30. Sandwiches and drinks will be available at the pavilion throughout the evening.

 

Saturday’s schedule is packed with fun-filled events, starting with the Flea Market and Craft Fair. The day kicks off early with the 5K race, with registration opening at 6:15 am and the run walk beginning at 7 am. Participants can also look forward to the car, truck, motorcycle, and tractor show, with registration open from 9 am to Noon.  Ham & Beans will be served in the Ruritan building, while the mud bog kicks off at 11 am. Later in the evening, a fish and chicken supper will be served at 5 pm, followed by the entertaining Farm Follies at 6 pm. Don’t miss the parade on Saturday, with lineup starting at 9:30 am and the parade commencing at 10 am, led by this year’s parade marshal, Connie Forth.

 

The festivities draw to a close on Sunday with a Community Church service featuring speaker Ethan Keyser at 10:30 am, followed by a chicken and pork loin meal at noon.
