THREE SOUTHERN ILLINOIS HOSPITALS WILL HAVE NEW NAMES MONDAY

On Monday, three Deaconess Hospitals in southern Illinois will undergo name changes, marking a significant transition for these healthcare facilities. The hospitals affected are Union County Hospital in Anna, Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, and Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.

To commemorate this milestone, each facility will host a celebration on their grounds to unveil their new names to the public. The schedule for the name reveal events is as follows:

Union County Hospital: The new name will be unveiled at 9 a.m.

 

Heartland Regional Medical Center: The new name will be revealed at 11:30 a.m.

 

Crossroads Community Hospital: The new name will be announced at 2:30 p.m.

 

The events will be attended by hospital employees, leaders, community leaders, and members, coming together to witness and celebrate this significant change in the hospitals’ identities.

 

During the ceremonies, Deaconess CEO Shawn McCoy and Deaconess Illinois Region President William Davis will deliver remarks, sharing insights and perspectives on the renaming process and the future direction of these healthcare institutions.
