AREA RIVER STAGES FROM THE U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY FOR MONDAY, AUGUST 5TH

Here’s the current river stages according to the US Geological Survey. Little Wabash east of
Fairfield stands at 22.00 feet (flood stage is at 17 ft.) . The Skillet Fork at Wayne City has a
reading of 8.46 feet, (flood stage is 15 ft). The Little Wabash below Clay City is at 7.94 feet. (flood
stage is at 18 ft.) The Little Wabash at Main St. in Carmi is at 21.74 feet, (flood stage is at 27 ft.).
The Wabash River at Mt. Carmel is at 4.75 feet, (flood stage is at 19 ft.). The Bonpas Creek at
Browns is at 6.06 feet.
