FAIRFIELD RESIDENT IN CUSTODY ON CHARGES OF ILLEGAL DISTRIBUTION OF METHAMPHETAMINE

A Fairfield man has been arrested on drug charges.  48-year-old Eddie Brooks Jr. of Fairfield was taken into custody Wednesday night just after 10 o’clock. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department was conducting an investigation into the illegal distribution of methamphetamine in Wayne County.  During the investigation, Brooks Jr. was arrested for distributing approximately 23 grams of methamphetamine.  Brooks Jr. remains in the Wayne County Jail on preliminary charges of; Delivery of Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine.
