FAIRFIELD POLICE HANDLE TWO-VEHICLE CRASH LAST FRIDAY NEAR WALMART

Fairfield Police were called to a two-vehicle accident last Friday morning just shortly after 8 o’clock on West Delaware and Commerce Drive in front of the Fairfield Walmart.  Police say a 2021 Ram 2500 driven by 53-year-old Rhonda Buchanan of Fairfield was eastbound on West Delaware when a 2016 Ram 1500 driven by 59-year-old John Hufford of Wayne City was traveling southbound on Commerce Drive when Hufford failed to stop at the intersection and struck the Buchanan vehicle.  No injuries were reported.  Fairfield Police issued John Hufford a citation for Failure To Yield Right Of Way.
