WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT BUSY TUESDAY WITH NUMEROUS GUILTY PLEAS

Numerous guilty pleas were handed down Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court.

 

Fairfield resident, 45-year-old Terry Hixenbaugh pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Meth.  Hixenbaugh was sentenced to 24 months probation plus court costs.

 

38 -year-old Jesse Enlow of Broughton pled guilty to Resisting a Peace Officer and was sentenced to one year of probation plus court costs and ordered to spend 30 days in the Wayne County Jail.

 

Jesus Guzman, 31 of Fairfield pled guilty to Disorderly Conduct and was placed on one year of Conditional Discharge and ordered to pay court costs.

 

33-year-old Anthony Evans of Flora pled guilty on two separate charges.  Evans was sentenced to one year probation on an Aggravated Assault charge and was placed on one year of Court Supervision on a DUI charge and was ordered to pay court costs.

 

Matthew Howard, 39 of Cisne pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to four years probation plus court costs and will spend 180 days in the Wayne County Jail.  Howard was given credit for ten days time served.

 

40-year-old Michael Toney of Fairfield pled guilty to a previous charge dating back to June 30th of Possession of Meth.  Toney was sentenced by Judge Denton Aud to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

 

Fairfield resident, 43-year-old Sunny Wixom admitted in court Tuesday to violating a previous term of probation on a charge dating back to August of 2021 of Unlawful Possession of Meth.  Judge Denton Aud sentenced Wixom to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.  Wixom was given 33 days credit of time already served.
