On Saturday afternoon, a Grayville woman suffered critical injuries in a bicycle accident. Just before 2:30, 30-year-old Allysa R. Brown was riding her bicycle on Old Albion Highway in Grayville when she was struck by a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Andrea L. Puckett of Olney.
Edwards County EMS responded swiftly to the scene, transporting Brown to a nearby landing zone. She was then airlifted to an area trauma center for treatment of her severe injuries.
Andrea Puckett has been cited by police for improper passing.
