Wayne County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Cisne Knapp Mart Sunday afternoon for a property damage crash. Deputies say just after 5 o’clock, a 2000 Lincoln Navigator driven by 72-year-old Debra Shreve of Cisne was backing into a fuel pump stall when her foot slipped off the brake pedal and onto the accelerator. The vehicle struck the pumps guardrail skidding down the side of the vehicle and catching on the front driver’s side tire and breaking the wheel away from the axle. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.
