Terry Gene Brown, 61, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at his home.
Terry was born in Fairfield, Illinois on November 12, 1961, to Gene and Lola (Hooper) Brown. He was a past master of Newburgh Masonic Lodge #174. Terry was a Shrine member for 25 years where he served as past president in Warrick County. He was a member of Hadi Motor Corp., Hadi Mariners, and Warrick County Clowns.
Terry is survived by his significant other of 11 years, Susan Bishop of Evansville, IN; daughters, Amber Uhde (Craig) and Terra Scheuring (Ben) both of Boonville, IN; mother, Lola (Hooper) Brown of Fairfield, IL; sisters, Sherry Brown and Tina Pinnick (Jim) both of Fairfield, IL; brother, Jerry “Modock” Brown of Fairfield, IL; grandchildren, Jordan Uhde, Nicholas Uhde, Clayton Uhde, Taya Scheuring, Harlow Uhde, and Talia Scheuring; three nieces; three great-nephews; and one great-niece.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Gene Brown.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with a Shriner walk through and Shriner service to begin at 6:00 pm.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Friday, September 8th at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home, 106 NE 4th St., Fairfield, IL 62837, with Pastor J.C. McDuffee officiating. A second visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Friday at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, Illinois.
